Photohunt: Fake
Why is it that every time I want to take Darius' picture, he rushes me like I am a quarterback during the Superbowl? At least half of my pictures of him are like the one below. And while his fake smile is cute, I want a real, in-action, shot of the kid. And one that isn't all head. Is that too much to ask? Apparently so.

that is a great shot though!! I love those close up shot--shows his true personality!! Happy Photo hunting!!

What a face! ;-) Maybe get a wireless remote shutter release and leave the camera up on the tripod so he forgets it's there? LOL

Hi fellow SV Mom! You could have fooled me, D's smile doesn't look fake at all, his eyes certainly look like they are lighting up genuinely. You should see the Garfield grins that mine give me, sigh...

Hey...he's cute. You considered that a fake smile. Hehe...It's too natural. Happy 070707 and a Happy Weekend :) http://crizlai.blogspot.com/2007/07/photo-hunters-fake.html

You have to catch him by surprise then maybe you'll get an "unfaked" smile !

Long lens... quiet stalking... lots of distractions for subject... great candid shots... I think his smile is sweet!

How clever. Boy, I had a tough time coming up with something fake. Y'all seem to make it look so easy for the theme.
Happy Hunting.

You as his mom may know it's fake smile? But me? It's just totally beautiful smile. It seems to genuine!

I had the same problem with my eldest son at your son's age. My dog is also like that, lol. Love your take on this week's theme.
Happy Saturday, Biker Betty :)
